    What is an auth code? How can I get it? TOP

    A domain "auth code" is a small random code assigned to each domain name and is required in order for a domain name to be transferred from one registrar to another. If you are a reseller, please log in your Cnobin account, and under Domain Name>>Domain Manager, you will be get domain auth code by inputting your domain after clicking on Get domain auth info. If you are an enduser, please submit a ticket or send an email to support@cnobin.com to request a auth code.


    What is the procedure of transferring a domain out? TOP

    Please unlock your domain name and get auth code. Then you will need to initiate a transfer request at the gaining registrar. You will receive an authorization email from the gaining registrar. By confirming the email with the auth code, you will just need to wait until the transfer completes.


    If I want to transfer domains, what should I pay attention to? TOP

    1. The domain has been registered with your registrar for at least 60 days. (ICANN regulations require that a domain name has to be registered with the current registrar for 60 days before it can be transferred to another Registrar. 2. The domain is not on a "Lock" or "Hold" status 3. If the domain name is already pending transfer, a new transfer request will automatically fail.


    What are the rules for CN domain Registrar transfers? TOP

    CN Domain names registered through China-based registrars cannot be transferred into non-China based registrars, and vice versa.     How can I use your whois protection service? TOP

    After you search the domain name under "Domain Names" on the control panel, click the domain, and then you will find a button "Protect Whois". By clicking that button, the Whois protection service is enabled. Please note that the whois protection service is available for .com .net .cc .tv domain name.


    How to unlock one domain name? TOP

    You can unlock your domain name by using our control panel. Please follow the steps: 1. Click on "Domain Manager" under "Domain Names". 2. Input the domain name, and click on "Search". 3. After you find the right domain, check it, click on "Manage Lock". You will see the status of the domain has been changed to Unlock. Please note, if you are a reseller who wishes to unlock your subuser's domain name, you will need to click on "Search sub's account" after you input the domain name.
